Display system software development

Mama.Productions, in collaboration with our partners, has been at the forefront of creating large-scale exhibitions and innovative interactive display systems. Our projects span the cultural sector and the creative industries, often pushing the boundaries of what is possible in exhibition design.

A notable example of our work is a significant project undertaken with BeamSystems and the Museum of Beeld and Geluid in Hilversum. Through a blend of advanced technology and artistic vision, we strive to create immersive environments that bring stories to life and connect people with culture in meaningful ways.

EYE - Panorama

Mama.Media partnered with the Eye Filmmuseum in Amsterdam to create an interactive app featuring seven consoles, each of them showcasing a unique theme from the museum’s film archive, including comedy, science fiction, fantasy and more. Designed for long-term use, this installation successfully ran for 10 years.

What sets these consoles apart is their adaptability—they were built to be fully reusable, allowing the museum to easily repurpose them for new exhibitions and content. This flexibility ensures that the technology stays relevant while it's integrating with the museum's evolving narratives and needs.

This project really shows Mama.Media's dedication to creating sustainable digital tools for cultural storytelling—something essential to any museum.
